Diocesan Buildings Advisory Committee

The remit of the Diocesan Buildings Advisory Committee is:

• To deal with the technical, architectural and aesthetic aspects of Applications and Consents as required under Canon 35.

Diocesan Property Committee

The remit of the Diocesan Property Committee is:

• To consider and recommend for approval or rejection applications for grants from the Dunderdale and Provincial Maintenance and Development Funds.
   
• To be responsible for any properties for which the Diocese has direct responsibilities (currently the Bishop’s Residence and the Diocesan Centre).
   
• To receive and follow up Quinquennial property reports from the Vestries and refer to the Finance and Management Committee any concerns it might have regarding individual Vestries’ responses to Quinquennial reports.
   
• q To provide a general property advice service to the Diocese and individual Vestries, to include alterations/developments to buildings not covered by Canon 35 and matters relating to compliance with relevant legislation relating to buildings.
