Diocesan International Committee

Our role is to keep the Diocese of Edinburgh in touch with the worldwide church, through the Anglican Communion, and through the Porvoo agreement with the Baltic Lutheran churches. 

We seek to encourage and enable partnerships and companion links at diocesan and congregational level.

Many congregations have their own active links with the wider world.

We offer hospitality to overseas visitors, and encourage them to become associated with congregations.

We support people who work for the church overseas, through prayer links and newsletters.

We keep congregations informed about concerns and issues in the rest of the world and act as a resource for information and expertise.
