Congregational Accounts Review Committee

The remit of the Congregational Accounts Review Committee is:

• To review the annual accounts of all churches in the Diocese of Edinburgh and to report to the Finance and Management Committee those accounts which give cause for concern or are likely to encounter financial difficulty in the future.
   
•  To confirm to the Diocesan Treasurer that accounts are properly prepared and audited for all Churches in the Diocese of Edinburgh thus ensuring that in accordance with the Charities Act, the Scottish Episcopal Church maintains its charitable status.
   
• To assist the Finance and Management Committee and the Diocesan Treasurer with ad hoc duties as may be agreed from time to time.
